The Department of International Relations and Information implements international activities of ISCRAN. It maintains effective contacts with scientific centers and public organizations in many countries, with governmental agencies in the Russian Federation and foreign embassies in Moscow.

During 30 years of ISCRAN's existence the staff of the International Department has acquired considerable experience in organizing and conducting international conferences, seminars and workshops with leading Russian and foreign academic and governmental specialists.

Basing on its rich experience and a vast network of contacts with scientific institutions, governmental agencies, individual scholars and political figures the Department can assist in promoting dialogue with leading Russian scholars and governmental specialists. It can also assist foreign scholars and specialists in obtaining visas.
